Mark Dunsmore

With over 18 years industry experience, Mark knows a thing (or three) about property!

Mark started his property career in 2005 as a Trainee Lettings Negotiator working for a small franchised office in north Leeds where he had to learn his craft very quickly.

Mark spent the next 9 years working his way up the career ladder, eventually finished "employed" life in 2014 as an Area Manager looking after 11 offices in Yorkshire and the North East for one of the largest corporate agency groups in the UK.

In 2014, Mark launched Goliath Property Solutions, a sourcing company helping investors build property portfolios primarily around the Leeds area , but handled national portfolio sales too.

In 2016, Mark launched his first online training company, Goliath Sourcing Academy, helping others build sourcing & deal packaging businesses around the UK.

In 2022, Mark launched a new property brand, Miramar Property Hunters, which he plans to turn into a national brand and develop a franchise opportunity to help others build successful property buying agencies.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a minimum number of months I need to commit to?

Not at all. We want to ensure this is a no-brainer which means not holding you to any minimum term contracts. You're on a monthly rolling contract which means you can cancel any time up to your renewal date. We'll cancel your membership and no further payments will be taken.

Are there any other costs / financial requirements on top of my payment to you?

To operate as a sourcing business you will need to comply with the necessary legislation, when the time comes. The total cost to do this is approximately £700-1000 although insurance can be paid monthly which would reduce your initial investment to around £400-500. Don't worry though, we're going to ensure you're in a position to afford that before having to pay it out. We teach you how in the training!

As your business grows, you'll also need to consider costs such as marketing, staffing and other associated costs of running a business. Again, don't worry as we teach you how to establish your business for little to no cost initially so you'll only need to start thinking about additional costs as you scale!

What if I decide building a property hunting business isn't right for me?

As there are no long term contracts, you're only committed for each month that you pay for. That means, if you decide it's not for you, simply cancel your membership and no further payments will be taken.

Can I do this whilst working full / part time?

Absolutely! We actually want to master the process that enables people with full or part time commitments to still be able to build successful property businesses on the side until they're ready to commit fully when the revenue is sufficient (and consistent) enough to do so. We'll work with you to build a plan that enables maximum efficiency in the time you have available to you.

What's the minimum time commitment required to make this work?

We want to be able to help you no matter what your current time availability is. This means you can build your property business on as little as a few hours per week. You do need to be realistic though as viewings will be required on suitable properties and those are the one thing that can be affected due to time availability as you're at the mercy of agents/owners. Apart from that, everything else can be done in short bursts if need be. Just remember though, the less time you have to commit to the necessary actions, the slower it will be to see those results.

What investment strategies do you cover?

Fortunately, due to Mark's extensive property experience, we cover all the main residential investment strategies including traditional purchases with a view to letting out (BTL & HMO). We also cover Lease Options, Assisted Sales & Rent To Rent.

I'm new to property investment, will this program work for me?

Absolutely. As we focus on a very specific set of criteria for investment, we'll teach you exactly what you need to know so you can get out and find deals within weeks of starting with us.
